Participants are encouraged to "leave their
self-consciousness at the door" and explore
communication skills through imaginative,
non-threatening improvisational theatre exercises.
This lively workshop explores both verbal and
non-verbal expressions, and introduces conflict
bridging techniques. Role-plays serve to introduce
situations familiar to participants, allowing them to
practice their new skills, role-model for one another,
and learn from others how to effectively communicate
in professional settings.
Requirements
- Maximum
number
of participants: up to 100.
- Open
space for group movement (no chairs or tables).
- For
large groups, or rooms with poor acoustics, a handheld
microphone or lavaliere clip-on microphone is appreciated.
- This
workshop runs approximately 75 minutes, but can be customized
to fit your time frame - up to 90 minutes.
The
Communication and Collaboration
workshops go great together!
